We here at Glamstar Karaoke are here to make your evening as enjoyable as possible. To that end, we have placed songbooks around the room for you to glance though. Each book contains about 17,000 songs for you to browse though, and once you’ve selected a song you may place it on one of the slips we will provide you. Please be sure to inclde the name of the song you wish, the page number from the book, and your own name as well on the slip. If you’d like, please also include your MySpace and we’ll add you to our Friends List, or your email address, and we’ll add you to our mailing list.

Once your slip is finished, please turn it into your host for the evening. They will then call you up when it is your turn to sing, as determined by when they recieved your slip based on a first come, first served basis. Once you sing, you will retain this position in line and will return to the according to the same order as the first round of singers.

When you arrive up front to sing, pick up a mic, and just follow along with the words on the screen. The words will change color when you should sing them. Your host will take care of adjusting the pitch and key, the volume levels, and the echo to assist you in sounding your best. For songs with more than one singer, lyrics will generally be color coded to the particular singer. In other examples, each name will be listed before the lyric. At the end of the song, just and your mic back to your host, and take a bow! You’ve earned that applause.
